EXPERIENCE AND APPROACH

Michael Hart is a classically trained musician with over twenty-five years of private and public teaching experience.  He has taught orchestra programs in both elementary and secondary schools as well as taught hundreds of students privately.  His students have consistently performed well in solo and ensemble contests as well as obtained consistent rankings in orchestra competitions.  Mr. Hart enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others so that his students develop a passion and love for music that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

Music lessons at Hart Music Studio are taught using a mixture of classical training and performance techniques which provides a thorough knowledge of the instrument as well as provides experiential learning.   Students are given instruction through note reading, music theory, and ear training.  Students are also encouraged to perform at regular intervals in studio concerts and group performances.  ​
